SFA Staff and Supporters Rally in Run!Geek!Run!

This year Run!Geek!Run! benefited Move2Learn (the only organization in the region that offers programming and equipment to keep students moving before, during and after school). An enthusiastic contingency from the Scholarship Fund of Alexandria (pictured left to right: Michelle Gleeson, SFA Deputy Director; Anayxia Rodriguez, College Advisor; Jasmine Milone, SFA Executive Director; Kevin Jahns, SFA Board Chair; Christine Miller, Director of College Advising; and Sarah Zapolsky, SFA Project Manager) participated in the 2023 5k run/walk.
Too modest to report that her participation was ‘notable’ SFA Deputy Director Michelle Gleeson said “I was there,” according to her recap. The rest of the team completed the picture “… She was ON the podium.”
“It was a lot of fun,” commented Sarah Zapolsky, “Eugene, the official Run!Geek!Run! mascot, was a worthy leader and a hoot.”
