The Scholarship Fund’s largest 2019 scholarship, The Madelyn Anderson Memorial Scholarship, was awarded to  T.C. Williams High School senior Amaiya Howard.   The scholarship is worth an amazing $40,000 over four-years and will help Amaiya make her college dreams become reality at Virginia Commonwealth University!

“I’m on cloud nine right now. This will help me out so much.  I was struggling to find a way to attend V.C.U. This scholarship will basically pay for college.  Thank you to everyone who contributes to the Scholarship Fund of Alexandria.” — Amaiya Howard, TC Williams Class of 2019.

We surprised Amaiya, graduate of Lyles Crouch Elementary School and GW Middle School, and director of TC Williams spring production of “Beauty and the Beast” during play rehearsals. Thank you to ALL who give to support our scholarships for Alexandria students with financial need. YOU make moments like this possible! Congratulations Amaiya! #ScholarahipsChangeLives #Forever
