OH WHAT A NIGHT…Congratulations to the 152 T.C. Williams High School Seniors who Received $400,000 in first-time Scholarships during our Scholarship Award Ceremony on June 6th. The scholarships were awarded on stage at T.C. Williams by the individual donors and local business leaders who provide financial support for the scholarships. There were many touching moments where scholarship supporters met the students they were helping send to college with a flurry of smiles, hugs and even tears.
Scholarship Fund Executive Director Beth Lovain told the crowd, “This is my favorite night of the year, when all of our bright young students are celebrated for their academic achievements and the amazing futures that lie ahead of them.” Lovain added, “But, importantly, it is such a meaningful and poignant moment when I see all of our students say ‘thank you’ to all of you who support their scholarships and all of you who truly make college possible for our T.C. Williams students in need. These scholarships literally change lives. Forever.”
