Sheldon Schanck
Sheldon Schanck is a well-known member of the Alexandria community and The Scholarship Fund.  He is a product of the Alexandria City Public School system, having attended elementary and middle school in Alexandria as well as graduating from T.C. Williams in 1986.

His contributions to Alexandria and his school system have been outstanding. In 1996, he was elected to serve on the Board of Trustees as a previous recipient of an SFA Scholarship, a unique position at that time.  He has chaired and co-chaired both the Annual Fall Campaign and the Alumni Outreach committees, and has worked on various other committees within the organization.

His community work continues with his fraternal organization, Omega Psi Phi, where he works on such projects as fundraising, scholarships, and other community service projects.  He has also established himself as a self-employed independent insurance agent and registered representative specializing in life insurance, retirement planning and investments.

In June 2004, Sheldon completed his third and final term as an SFA board member. However, he continues to support the SFA and his community through his volunteer efforts.
