The SFA Renewal Application opens every year by June. The SFA Renewal Application is specifically for ACHS alumni who were awarded scholarships from the SFA as high school seniors. The 2026-27 SFA Renewal Application is now open and available here.
The renewal application is much shorter than the original SFA application. Recipients will be asked to provide their unofficial college transcript(s), financial aid award letter, FAFSA Submission Summary or VASA Application. Questions about the SFA Renewal Application? SFA Requirement
Starting this year, all SFA recipients with renewable scholarships MUST apply for renewal in order to remain eligible for funding from the SFA in the future. This includes recipients who are not enrolled for the upcoming academic year or semester. SFA recipients must either complete the SFA Renewal Application OR the SFA Deferral Form (if the recipient is not current enrolled). Failure to complete either the SFA Renewal Form OR the SFA Deferral Form before the final application deadline will result in the student’s scholarship being permanently rescinded.
SFA Renewal Application Deadlines
You can start your application beginning in June. Please note that your application will not be considered complete until your SFA scholarship application is submitted with the correct documentation requested. Submitting all paperwork by the July initial deadline allows the SFA to process your scholarship and disburse payment to your institution earlier. The 2026-27 renewal deadlines are listed below:
- Initial Deadline: Tuesday, July 7
- Final Deadline: Tuesday, August 25
