The Purpose

The Scholarship Fund Gala nets a significant dollar contribution to the general fund of the Scholarship Fund of Alexandria. Contributions to the Gala ensure that Alexandria Public School Students who are academically qualified can afford a college, technical or vocational school education.

Corporate sponsors are recognized for their investment in the future of our community.

Guests have fun while supporting a worthwhile cause.

The Festivities

The Gala is a formal fast-paced evening of dancing, dining, and silent and live auction shopping. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The Honorees

The Gala features the Portraits of Success, a tribute to five former scholarship recipients. Each of these honorees has made significant academic, professional and personal contributions to their community and to their profession. They are an inspiration to our present scholarship recipients and a testimony to the value of the support the community sends with our students.

The Guests

More than 600 guests who attend the event are a cross-section of our community business leaders, government and elected officials, the Alexandria City Public Schools, and the community at large. All share a desire to invest in our community by providing our young people the opportunity to pursue a post-secondary education.

The Auction

The Gala includes both a silent and live auction. We hope you will join us this year!
