About the Clash
Clash of the Titans is a friendly fundraiser produced by the TC Williams Alumni Association to benefit the Scholarship Fund of Alexandria (SFA). For 25 years the SFA has been funding need-based scholarships for TC Williams seniors to help send them on to college. In 2011, SFA awarded $375,000 to TC Williams graduates in the Class of 2011 and provided over $475,000 in renewal scholarships to prior graduates.

The first graduating class at TC was the class of 1967. We produced the first play on stage at TC, which was Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town”. In the last scene of the play one character, cheering others on to appreciate the details of every day, glances at the sky and notes, “look, its clearing up. The stars are coming out.” Congratulations to a constellation of stars from the class of 1967, who still shine brightly, and prevailed in the clash of the Titans.
It’s a great day to be a Titan and a great day to contribute to the SFA.
Thank you to everyone that has contributed to the SFA through this years Class of the Titans. We have much to be proud of as TCW graduates and much to pay back for all that we received during our time on King Street. Please spread the word to all your fellow Titan Alumni we need everyone’s help to achieve the mission of the SFA. Yeah Titans!!!!
Go, Titans, Go!

SFA is an amazing opportunity for graduates of T.C. Williams. I benefited from the SFA as a graduate of the class of 1987. I was happy today to donate in memory of a good friend, Richard Scott, who would have also been a graduate of the class of 1987 and it was in his name that I was given a scholarship from the SFA. Thank you!
The Scholarship Fund is a jewel in Alexandria’s crown. It is the shining star that gives a central focus to all citizens who are looking for a way to support future generations. It amplifies the sense of caring that Alexandria’s citizens, from all walks of life, have for students who have the fortitude to stick with their goals. I wish you continuing success as you support those who need a little boost to be able to follow their dreams.
Thank you.
Thank you alumni. Go Titans!
